Doug Jones: It’s Time for Tommy Tuberville to Talk Policy

Guntersville, AL – Doug Jones is taking his statewide town hall series to Marshall County, joined by Democratic nominee for Attorney General Jeff McLaughlin, for a community town hall at the Marshall County Retired Senior Volunteer Program in Guntersville. The town hall is open to all. No pre-screened questions. No script. Just Doug Jones.

“I want to hear directly from the voters of Marshall County about what they want to see from their next governor,” said Jones. “Democrat, Republican or somewhere in between, come ask us a question. That’s what these town halls are about.”

Marshall County is home to a strong manufacturing and agricultural economy, with healthcare and education also playing an important role in the local community. Jones has made creating good-paying jobs, strengthening local healthcare, investing in local schools and lowering everyday costs central to his campaign for governor.

The Marshall County stop continues Jones’ statewide town hall series, where voters have asked Jones directly about everything from grocery and electricity costs to healthcare, education, jobs and economic development.
